  • Pet Adoption Network, which is based in Irondequoit, marks 10-year anniversary

  • The Pet Adoption Network is celebrating the milestone with a benefit at Norton's Pub on North Goodman Street on Aug. 11.

  • The Pet Adoption Network, based at 4261 Culver Road, Irondequoit, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary of placing homeless pets in permanent homes with a benefit from 1 to 5 p.m. this Sunday, Aug. 11, upstairs at Merchant's Grill, 881 Merchants Road, Rochester.
    There will be entertainment, appetizers, face painting and a balloonist.
    There will also be a raffle for several items, with the grand prize being a 42-inch flat screen TV.
    All of the proceeds will go the needs and care of the network’s pets. All ages are welcome, but no pets will be allowed.
    The network is open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

    The all-volunteer Pet Adoption Network was founded in 2003 and recently celebrated placing its 2,000th homeless cat into a safe, loving home.
