Soap Box Derby takes off over the weekend

About 66 young racers participated in the annual running of the Greater Rochester Soap Box Derby this past Saturday, June 2, on "derby hill" on Lake Shore Boulevard in Irondequoit. Five local champions were crowned. They now move on to the International Soap Box Derby in Akron, Ohio in July.
