Officers with the Irondequoit police investigated the following incidents between Feb. 11 and Feb. 17.
Feb. 14: A homeowner asked that officers cease investigating a reported breaking and entering report at a residence in the unit block of Charing Road. There was no forced entry reported to a locked rear door where officers believe entry was gained. The investigation was halted after officers began questioning the victim about his son’s friends who were reportedly in the home for a party Feb. 12.
Feb. 14: Three holes were kicked in the drywall of an apartment in the 2400 block of Saint Paul Boulevard by a known suspect. The property owner is seeking restitution from the suspect.
Feb. 14: A resident in the 2700 block of Saint Paul Boulevard reported that a video game system was stolen from a bedroom of his residence while other family members were home.
Feb. 16: An officer took a report of theft from an unlocked vehicle in the unit block of Belmeade Road. Multiple credit cards and a cellphone were taken.
Feb. 17: At 9:30 a.m., an officer responded to a 911 call from a resident in the unit block of Edgebrook Lane who observed a man who was possibly attempting to open a window of his home. The caller had scared the suspect away before calling police. No burglaries were reported, and patrols were unable to locate the suspect.
