On Friday, June 1, Pittsford Mendon High School staged a DWI crash re-enactment for its 11th- and 12th-grade students. On behalf of the staff and students, I would like to thank the large number of community volunteers that graciously donated their time and expertise in this imperative and dramatic event.
Those volunteers included: Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Zone A, Pittsford Fire Department, Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance, Honeoye Falls-Mendon Volunteer Ambulance, Keenan Funeral Home, Sutherland Auto, Pittsford Mendon PTSA, and the nine Pittsford Mendon student actors.
The DWI crash re-enactment not only delivered a powerful and significant message, it also helped heighten the awareness of making healthy and positive decisions.
