As a home owner of property both in Canandaigua and Victor, I feel compelled to write a letter in support of the man I truly believe is the right choice for Victor town justice, and that man is Michael A. Jones, Esq.

I am fortunate to have known Mike for a number of years, both as a friend and professionally. I know for a fact that Mike is an extremely qualified man for the position which he seeks. He has the credentials to back my statement. His moral compass, integrity, professional work ethics, honesty, care for his clients that they get the best justice the legal profession has to offer, his dedication to his community, not to mention all his professional credentials, lend themselves to show you that Michael A. Jones, Esq., is indeed the man you should choose for your next town justice. He, like yourselves, is a resident of Victor and the town wherein his children attend school.

Mike, a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, served as an assistant district attorney, served as our town attorney, and as a premier and much sought-after attorney, responsible for saving the taxpayers millions of dollars while in that capacity. He is a very respected litigator, prosecutor and defender of justice. He is an instructor of law and ethics to both college students and fellow attorneys for continuing education purposes. Michael is honest and above reproach. I have personally seen him in a courtroom, wherein he genuinely fights for his clients and their just law. He does not back away from legal responsibility and knows his law unlike any other attorney I have personally seen in court — and no, I do not work for Mike. I personally would trust my life in his hands and feel you should too.

The most important issue to me is that Mike personally feels that politics do not belong on the bench; the facts of the case before him would be the only mandate and mitigating factor in his rulings, a ruling that could befall you or any other member of your family. If you want a quality town justice, honest man, with integrity and principles, then Mike is your man. Vote for Mike on primary election day, Thursday, Sept. 13, and vote in the man most qualified to be your new town justice!
