Artist and singer Theresa Patti will be among the more than 40 artists exhibiting over 100 artworks in the Irondequoit Art Club’s spring show and sale April 27 through May 6 at the Irondequoit Public Library, 1290 Titus Ave.
As a member of the club, Patti helps facilitate the Wednesday critique program and was a co-founder of the Thursday artist breakfast meeting held at Bill Gray’s in Seabreeze. Patti is the chair of the Hanging Committee for the club’s Spring Show.
Patti is a graduate of Nazareth College with a Bachelor of Science in art and a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology School for American Craftsmen with a Master of Fine Arts in painting. She has taught painting for several years and continues to teach a course in acrylic painting at Oasis. She is a member of Suburban Rochester Art Group. She has exhibited as a member of Tempo, a group of more than 20 women artists. She won the best painting award at two exhibitions of Festiggiamo Le Arti at Nazareth Arts Center.
Guests can meet Patti and other exhibiting artists at the Artist Award reception from 7 to 9 p.m. April 27. A Meet the Artist Day also will be held at 1 p.m. April 29.
