Tops Friendly Markets will team up with Boy Scouts of America for their annual “Good Turn for America” event on Saturday, March 18. Nearly 60 local food pantries will benefit on this day of giving when people are asked to donate nonperishable food and health and beauty items at area stores between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There are 23 Tops stores throughout the Rochester/Finger Lakes area participating. They include stores at 5150 North St. in Canandaigua; 76 Kendall St., Clifton Springs; 6179 Route 96, Farmington; 381 Hamilton St., Geneva; and 33 Forgham St. in Lyons.
The food and grocery items collected on Saturday will be donated by the Boy Scouts to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and Foodlink. For more information contact your local Tops Friendly Market or call 716 635-5000.
