Rochester City Ballet recently announced two principal dancers from Miami City Ballet will be guest artists for “Ballet on the Edge” from May 13 to 15 at Nazareth Arts Center, 4245 East Ave., Rochester.

Jennifer Kronenberg and Carlos Guerra, principal dancers with Miami City Ballet, will dance an excerpt from “Viscera” created by The Royal Ballet’s star, Liam Scarlett.

Kronenberg has appeared on the cover of Dance Magazine and authored the book “So You Want to Be a Ballet Dancer.” Guerra and Kronenberg have both been named among Miami’s “100 Creatives.” They join guest star Webster-native Jim Nowakowski in the show.

“I want Rochester to be a window to the world of dance,” said David Palmer, artistic director. “A window goes both ways. Jennifer and Carlos will bring the world to us. We hope the world will look through our window and see the wonderful dance community we have here in Rochester.”

Palmer will premiere his new ballet “Under the Moonlight” to nine David Bowie songs. The ballet features songs such as “Changes,” “Heroes,” “Sorrow,” “Let’s Dance” and “God Only Knows.”
