Irondequoit Public Library has announced new children's programs at its Helen McGraw Branch.
Books and Bricks Lego Challenge will be held at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 21 for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. A story will be read before to inspire creative creations made with provided Lego bricks.
At 2:30 p.m. Feb. 23, Teresa Wood will lead "History Houses." American Girl Felicity and stories about the colonial times, as well as a miniature colonial home to view, will all be included.
Tea Parties with Grandma (or Grandpa) will be held at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 24, featuring local author Barbara McNair. McNair will share her book, "Tea Parties with Grandma," over refreshments and with activities.
Registration is not required for History Houses or Books and Bricks. Tea Parties does require registration.
