The Seneca Park Zoo Society invites the community to “Party with a Purpose” and “Celebrate Your Inner Beast” at the Seneca Park Zoo’s largest annual fundraiser, Zoobilation, at 5:45 p.m. this Saturday, June 4. The Seneca Park Zoo is closed all day on Saturday, June 4, to prepare for the event.
Zoobilation includes silent and live auctions featuring auctioneers Les McCurdy and Ken Sons of the Bermuda Mavericks, a champagne toast, hors d’oeuvres and dinner catered by the Rabbit Room, live music by a jazz quartet from the Bill Tiberio Band, and more.
Proceeds benefit the zoo’s education and conservation programs and also support the zoo’s day-to-day operations.
Tickets are still available. Call (585) 336-7217 or visit www.senecaparkzoo.org for details.
Bank of America and Merrill Lynch are the event’s presenting sponsors.
The zoo, located at 2222 St. Paul St., in Seneca Park, Rochester, will reopen with normal hours — 10 a.m. for the general public and 9:30 a.m. for zoo members — on Sunday, June 5.
