The Irondequoit chiropractor responsible for a crash that killed a Greece couple was sentenced Wednesday morning.
Stephen Divito will spend the next five to 15 years in prison. He pleaded guilty in October to eight charges, including aggravated vehicular manslaughter. Since then, he has been out of jail and still practicing as a chiropractor.
Divito was drunk and speeding in November 2011 when he hit a car on Lake Ontario State Parkway near Route 259 in Parma. He then drove away. Jim and Pat DePinto of Greece were killed in the crash.
