DiBella's is set to open its 30th location (in Cincinnati, OH) next week.
The sub shop began as a family-owned grocery store in 1918 and has morphed into a successful restaurant chain with a total of 29 locations in six states.
To celebrate this growth and thank its loyal hometown customers, DiBella’s is having a customer appreciation event this weekend, Sept. 29 and 30. For every sub purchased, customers get an additional small sub for thirty cents.
"This is a big deal," says James Paladenic, Chief Operating Officer for DiBella’s, "because we rarely, if ever, discount or give away our subs."
As an added bonus, DiBella’s will be giving away free subs for a year to 30 lucky customers during the weekend event. Customers can enter by stopping into any one of seven area DiBella’s locations on Sept. 29 or 30. There is no purchase necessary.
"Our growth over the past several years has been tremendous and is a true testament to how savvy Rochester consumers are," says Paladenic.
The popularity of DiBella's in Rochester has given the company a strong foundation from which to grow. DiBella's currently operates in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Connecticut, Michigan and Indiana with plans to open 12 new locations in 2013.
"We have aggressive growth plans," says Paladenic "but we will always call Rochester home."
