The West Irondequoit School District's Community Education program is offering three free seminars on alternate energy. The courses are an opportunity to learn about the district's new wind turbine, solar panel and upcoming alternative energy projects.
All seminars include a presentation, a question and answer period, and a walking tour.
Seminars are open to all ages and are free of charge, but registration is required.
The first seminar will be from 7 to 8 p.m. next Tuesday, Jan. 17, followed by one from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, and the final one from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 10. A
Each seminar will be held at Irondequoit High School, 260 Cooper Road — room 1010. Use the north entrance (No. 5), then turn left at the first hallway. The instructor for all three seminars is teacher Dave Marshall.
