A former Gates Chili boys basketball coach accused of having sex with a student at Tinseltown movie theater has pleaded guilty to third-degree rape.
Monte Nowden was in court Monday morning for a hearing.
As part of the plea deal, Nowden is expected to face one and a half years in state prison when he is sentenced on August 15.
