Madison Anderson, a kindergarten student at West Irondequoit's Colebrook School, has won a comic strip contest sponsored by the New York State Teacher Learning Centers.

Madison's was the winning kindergarten entry in the entire state.

Students in K-2 were invited to create a comic strip about playing nice (or not so nice) to enter the contest.

Madison received an iPod Touch as her contest prize, while her classroom received a set of Toon Books.
