Irondequoit Scouts serving up fish fry dinners starting Feb. 24

Irondequoit Boy Scout Troop 233 is again presenting its Lenten Baked Fish Dinners every Friday during Lent at the Christ the King Parish Center, 445 Kings Highway South, Irondequoit.

Dinners will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 24, and March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.

Takeout will be available by calling (585) 266-0620 after 4:30 p.m. each Friday (allow a half-hour for pickup).

Dinners are $8.50; $8 for seniors and children under 10.

Each dinner includes baked haddock, French fries or a baked potato, cole slaw, roll, and coffee or juice.

A grilled cheese sandwich with French fries and a pickle will also be available for $4.

Desserts, candy, and soft drinks will be available for additional cost.
