News to know

The iPhone5 appears set to be introduced next Wednesday, according to an email Apple sent to the media. The email included an image that had 12 – next Wednesday’s date – and a shadow of the 12 that is a 5. It also said “It’s almost here.” Experts believe the new iPhone will be announced and possibly released then.

Quote of note

“In the judgment of the Department of Defense, you are in material breach and violation of the nondisclosure agreements you signed. Further public dissemination of your book will aggravate your breach and violation of your agreements.” - General Counsel Jeh Charles Johnson, writing to author Mark Owen about his book "No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama Bin Laden." The book, which was released today, is said to include classified information and that the Navy SEAL author didn’t follow protocol. The Defense Department is weighing its options on how to proceed.
