William Drayton, better known as rapper Flavor Flav, is facing charges in New York after he was stopped by State Police for speeding early Thursday morning.
According to troopers, they stopped Drayton on Meadowbrook State Parkway in Nassau County for driving 79 mph in a 55 mph zone. During a license check, police say they learned Drayton was operating his vehicle with 16 suspensions on his license. Troopers also say he was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Drayton is charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation and traffic violations. Police say he was released on an appearance ticket in order to allow him to attend his mother's funeral.
